Camp Gencheff
|
Camp Gencheff is a facility in Bellevue Cove, PEI. It was originally developed in 1960 as a summer camp for mentally and physically challenged children. The Rotary Club of Charlottetown has been involved from the very beginning. The camp is the only facility on PEI with the necessary facilities and staff to accommodate the special needs of these children. In 1992, the camp became the major beneficiary of our Club's 75th anniversary fundraising efforts with the construction of a new $75,000 main building. The Rotary Club of Charlottetown is proud of its contribution and association with the camp and contributes annually to the care and operation of the facility. Members of our Club serve on the Camp's board.
