It is the 52nd Easter Seals Season on Prince Edward Island
The Ambassador for this year’s PEI Easter Seals Campaign is eleven year old Sonja Walker. Sonja, a blind child, lives in Charlottetown with her parents, Robert and Cynthia, and older brother Eric. She is a student at the Prince Street School. Sonja is an excellent representative for all those helped by Easter Seals in PEI. You will be inspired by her enthusiasm and determination. Please join Sonja in her campaign to spread "a vision of kindness".
This year you can Donate Online securely, conveniently, and easily. You will receive your official receipt almost instantly by email. Help make Sonja's campaign a success.
The Easter seals campaign is a franchised project of the Charlottetown Rotary Club, and supported by the Rotary Clubs of Summerside and Montague. A direct mail campaign, Tim Horton’s Ambassador’s School Tour, a live telethon on CBC Television, the paper egg campaign and other fundraising initiatives enable Easter Seals to help provide programs and equipment for people with disabilities on PEI. New for this year's campaign is the ability to accept donations online making it even easier to support Easter Seals in PEI. The secure online system allows either on-time or automatic monthly donations.
The PEI Easter Seals Society has provided financial assistance to support programs at Camp Gencheff, PEI Rehabilitation Council, Joy Riders, CADS-PEI (disabled skiers assoc.) and many other worthy organizations. The Society encourages businesses or organizations interested in supporting this year’s Easter Seals campaign to contact us by mail or email. The contact info is below.
